Cory Pavicich has worked in educational technology as a designer, classroom teacher, and consultant for over 10 years, and holds an M.Ed. from Harvard and a B.A. from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

In 2016 Cory became the University of Colorado Boulder’s first Digital Learning Initiatives Director 100% focused on growing scaled learning opportunities, including the campus Coursera effort. The DLI position is the first step in a nascent program which has already reached hundreds of thousands of new learners around the world. In the coming months and years CU intends to expand the program, developing a dedicated production and design staff who will focus on creating scaled learning experiences aligned with campus goals of increased revenue and expanded reputation.

Cory is a Google Certified Innovator, former classroom teacher, and was named the Time Magazine 2006 Person of the Year.
