Vice-rector for academic affairs, Director of Online Education Institute, Saint Tikhon's Orthodox University of Humanities

Archpriest Gennadiy Egorov has developped extended education and implemented online technologies in Saint Tikhon's Orthodox University of Humanities since 2003. In 2003-2007 managed the Faculty of Additional Professional Education in STOUH. In 2015 headed Online Education Institute, since then Rev. Gennadiy has managed development of online education techniques as well as research in the field of students and teachers adaptation to the system of e-learning. Rev. Gennadiy has experience in different platforms implementation: LMS VirtualUniversity, eLerningServer 4G, Moodle 3 and their adaptation to University's needs.

Under Rev. Gennadiy's direction several new online projects of additional education programs were launched, among them professional development program "Theory and approachs to distance learning" and online master's program on Theology .

Gennadiy Egorov graduated from Lomonosow Moscow State University (specialized in Physics) and the Higher School of Economics (Master in Management).

He is Candidate of Psychological Sciences and author of several scientific publications on psychology of personal growth, professional development and further training, educational environment design, on different aspects of distance learning. Gennadiy Egorov authored teaching and learning aids for "Holy scripture of Old Testament" discipline.

In 2011 Rev. Gennadiy Egorov recieved a ministerial award  "Honourable worker of higher professional education of Russian Federation".
